Our Mission

The Los Santos Police Department is the central law enforcement agency tasked with maintaining order and ensuring the safety of citizens in the city of Los Santos. The department is responsible for responding to emergency calls, investigating criminal activity, and upholding the law. LSPD officers are held to high standards of conduct, ensuring they meet the expectations required of a police officer. They work collaboratively with other city departments to ensure the overall well-being of the community

Police Cadets

Police Cadets go through an extensive training process to become full-fledged Police Constables. Training includes learning proper police procedures, how to handle various situations, such as traffic stops, investigate crimes and work as a team to achieve the same goal. Constables are taught to respond quickly and effectively to a variety of emergencies, such as domestic disputes, burglaries, missing persons and public disorder. Once training is completed, constables are expected to serve with professionalism, making sure to adhere to the conduct put in place.

Other Divisions

The department is organised into different divisions to provide specialized support to the city. These divisions include ERT, RPU, ARU, CID and DSU, each playing an essential role in maintaining law and order. ERT constables focus on street-level law enforcement, ensuring peace in the neighborhoods of Los Santos. Detectives investigate more complex criminal cases, such as organised crime and murders. Armed officers are deployed for high-risk situations like hostage rescues and armed confrontations. DSU units provide assistance with suspect apprehension, search and rescue operations, and narcotics detection. RPU handle tough vehicle pursuits, ensuring dangerous drivers are bought to a safe stop in order to presurve life around Los Santos.

Serving The Community

Police constables must build relationships between the police department and the citizens they serve. Engaging in community policing is a core part of their role, where constables are encouraged to build positive relationships with the public and address the concerns of local communities. Constables must balance maintaining authority and upholding the law while respecting citizens’ rights and resolving conflicts peacefully. The dynamic between the officers and civilians often results in the local community assisting police officers when required.
